Dvdfab 9 bd rip- no percentage, not ripping

    The day
I try bd rip and there is no percentage showing and after 4 hrs or so it may say success but file only 10k and doesn't play (work)?

    Trying to rip to avi.xvid.ac3.
I am selecting only the longest play time file.

Is there something missing am I doing something wrong?
I've used DVD rip with no problems before. Is there a different procedure?
    How long should this take.

I am using a brand new Samsung laptop, and the movie does play from the bd.

    Thanks

After working at it for awhile, I decided to try another blu-ray. It does rip, but not the whole movie, no matter which chapter I use. Am I missing something?

It is OK on my site, 27-29 fps.
Please post the internal.log which has problem.

Try it not using the 2GB- profile.

            Hi Justlearning_1
            2 things to try
1st go into Fab settings and disable Cuda and set all to using software.
2nd try a different AVI profile, not one of the (2gb-)
            Hope this helps

              Thanks all.

I am able to rip now. At first I tried to rip to avi, but sound was out., so I ripped to MKV which seems fine, although the file size is over 8 Gig.

I thought I read somewhere it is best to convert after it is ripped to hard drive.

              Thanks again

                Hi Justlearning_1
                Glad you got it!!!
You may be able to adjust the output size in advanced settings.
You are correct, it's always better to copy to your Hdd first, then do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive.
