Finally sorted it by selecting main movie only which is a shame as you don't get the main menu function, this V9 is going to take some getting used to over the simplicity of the V8.

Be sure to get +R DL Verbatims and look for the AZO on the label, that is the organic dye that make all the difference. Don't use -R DL discs for video. How to post the internal log

I have used RITEK early on Neil and would probably avoid them now. They make good copies at a reasonable failure rate, but they didn't last long. When I'd go back to watch in a few months no video on the disc and that's where the AZO dye comes in, Verbatim copies seem to last forever. I'm sure the RITEK will make a copy but keep the original handy you'll need it again! How to post the internal log

Ozzie this is a completely useless post. You've been around long enough to know the routine. Future posts like this will be deleted without notice. How to post the internal log

Trying to give V9 a fair shake. I had been using the V8 iPad profile to rip DVDs for play back on my ROKU, however none of the iPad profiles in V9 will produce a .m4v that will play on my ROKU. Any suggestions as to a comparable V9 profile to the V8 iPad profile or preferably a V9 ROKU profile.
