    Kindle Fire HD

    Hi,
    It's me again, I thank you 90312 for your help in the past, you did guide me through the process of ripping backup DVDs to Kindle Fire HD.
    This worked great on older titles, like Dracula and Flattop these are two older movies possibly without being encrypted.
    I tried 4 more recent titles such as LOL, Jack Reacher, Lincoln and Safe Haven.
    Using the same process as I did for the order titles, but when I tried to play them on my Kindle Fire HD, a box popped up and said

    "Unable to play video

    sorry, this vidoe cannot be played

    OK"

    My backup DVDs are Region R1, if you can help me in any way by duplicating my problem and help me correct it I'd be very thankful.

    This could be an issue with the software, the PSP 3.30+ profile has been broken for a few updates now and is still so in 9.0.3.9beta. Try one of the movies that worked in the version you are using now and if that works on your Kindle we have a starting point.

      Hi, did use the new 9.0.3.9beta
      when idid these dvd's.

      never did work for me on any verison since i've been doing Kindle

        So some movies work and some don't made with 9.0.3.9beta? If that is so post a complete internal log for one that works and one that don't. It may take someone smarter than me to sort it out.

                          Looks like the one that played has 2 audio channels and the one that won't has 5 channels. That device probably won't play 5.1 audio, try down mixing the audio to stereo and give it a try.

                            all the dvd's play on pc and stand alone players,
                            that's what i don't under stand.
                            why not Kindle Fire HD?
