    RED 2 Unplayable

I cannot get a playable back up copy of this movie. Its says Burned successful using DVDFab to burn it,but when it plays back I hit play and it plays the intro music then acts like it is going to start the movie then jumps right back to menu to hit the play button. Will not play. Couldn't even attempt to use my Nero to burn it here is a screenshot of what it shows when trying to use Nero. this is not the first time I have got this using nero either and its always the same something about reallocatioing files. But I can usually open DvdFab and get a good burn, but in Red 2 case it does not work in either of my programs, what is the problem with this movie?

Please post your internal and fab burn log for this disk.Cut and past just the file for the failed attempt.

Read the link below on how to post log files and do so whenever you have a problem with Fab.

For Red 2 you must use the latest versions of Fab to work correctly.
Latest version of Fab is 9119 so make sure you use it.

Tried just Main Movie and can't shut off subtitles

I am using the latest version,9119 after several update crashes and issues trying to get it to even work, which as you will find out as you read this it is not working or functioning properly.
I hate this new version nothing works right. Constant error messages, Tried a complete uninstall and reinstall deleting old folders etc in 9119 and Beta version still works like crap. I can't even get a clean reinstall without this popping up on my screen.

      UNABLE TO EXECUTE FILE: C:\PROGRAM FILES(V86)\DVDFab9\DVD FAB.EXE
      CREATE PROCESS FAILED; CODE 740
      THE REQUESTED OPERATION REQUIRES ELEVATION.

Also the Preview player does not function at all cannot use it will not play and previews. All I get is error messages. I don't know what bugs were in the last version before this one but it seems this is worse then the version I was using. Not to mention that when you go in and try to set things in the common settings it doesn't keep those settings it kicks them out as soon as you close that screen. I REALLY HATE THIS Version right now. It is starting to really tick me off.
I do not want to burn another bad copy and waste another DVD just to get the log file. So if I waste another dvd which the brand I buy are not cheap I hope someone can fix this version so it works properly. I don't even like the whole interface of this new version Liked the one I had easier to me to use. But will upload the burn log file from DvDFab9119 so maybe you can figure this out along with the initial install of the new version issues and the player for trying to see previewing.

It doesn't matter if you are, you still need to right click on the downloaded installer and "Run as Administrator".

Copy and burn as a Iso this is a exact copy minus the copy protection.
Use clone/burn disk in dvd copy this makes a iso set output to your burner so it will burn the disk as a iso.

You should buy one rewritable disk for testing so you don't waste your blank disks.

Make sure you burn the disk at 1/2 the disks rated speed so if you have 8x disks burn at 4x.

Stick with Fab burning engine or use img burn for the burn.

I believe your install problems are because you use XP as most people don't have the problems you do.

Soon Microsoft stops supporting XP so you need a different OP anyway why not change now.

                  Did that

I did that I uninstalled it again and went into my downloads and reinstalled it but ran as administrator didn't make any difference at all.. I am more concerned with why won't Red2 play back. I posted the burn log can we go to that issue for now.We can get back to this one later.

Nothing wrong I can find with DVDFab 9.1.1.9 and nothing wrong with preview. Red 2 copied flawlessly. Have you uninstalled, downloaded ccleaner (free version) and scrubbed the registry until it finds no errors, download a fresh installer, right click and "Run as Administrator"? Attachment:

I do not have the money to change my OP right now and there is nothing wrong my system until this newest update to 9119 I had no issues like this with Fab. I am not going out here and spending money I do not have to buy a new computer when mine is in great working condition and not that old. We work for a living Not in the budget.

I am trying to do a DVD not a Blue Ray Dvd just a regular one. We do not have Blue Ray and don't really want Blue Ray at the moment.

First thing I would do is cut the write speed to half the rated speed of the media, in this case 4x and give it a try.

I did a back up copy of my Percy Jackson DVd and had no problem whatsoever got a perfect copy, so why is Red 2 not working if this new version was supposed to fix the playback issues in these 2 particular movies from I read, it didn't work as intended only working for Percy but not Red2

Ok that log shows a little more and 8x should be fine. Post your internal log and let's see what's there. Are you in the US? DVDFab 9.1.1.9 does RED_2 region 1 without issue.
How to post the internal log

I got a backup (perfect Copy) of the new Percy Jackson and did not have to change anything ,go tit on the first try also, so do not understand why Red2 is having issues, if the new version was supposed have fixed bugs as indicated were in these 2 particular DVD's then Red2 should not be an issue anymore for playback. So I don't know what the problem is, and I did as you suggested and slowed down the burn speed still not playable, same thing hit the play button and it plays the beginning music and goes to dark screen like the movie is getting ready to start playing then jumps right back to the beginning where you have to hit play button again and repeats itself its like the menu has been locked out or is missing something I cannot figure out what the problem is with this but it irritating me right now.
