I recently purchased a GTX 970 ACX 2.0 4GB EVGA graphics card.
I installed nvidia drivers 347.52.
Every time I attempted to run DVDFab 9.1.8.8 it would crash programs, then 10 seconds later the system would suffer a BSOD.
I couldn't uninstall the app because it said the installation files were corrupted.
I ran SFC /SCANNOW several times, ran a CHKDSK, and ran my OCZ Toolbox to see if the SSD drive was experiencing errors.
I manually uninstalled it and did a clean install. At the end of the install the system suffered another BSOD.
I reinstalled Windows from scratch. When I installed DVDFab 9 (which I did after all other programs), it caused another BSOD.
I reinstalled the GTX 660 Ti I previously had installed, reinstalled Windows from scratch again, then all programs and finally DVDFab 9.1.8.8. No problems. It works.
Put the GTX 970 back in, reinstalled Windows from Scratch and then all programs and finally DVDFab 9.1.8.8, and BSOD yet again.
There is no minidump file I can attach and there is nothing in the event log that I can see.
Is this a bug or something I've done?
Is there a fix or work around if it is a bug, without having to put my old card back?
thanks
Tanya
