    Sorry, The current disc is protected by AACS

    When I search the forums, no results are found, even if I limit my search to "AACS". When I google search, I get lots of forum entries, all of them have links that seem to describe my problem, but they all take me to the same page, FAQ main page (indicating they may have been removed?).

    So, i apologize if this is old news or already heavily covered, but I can't seem to find the solution. I saw reference to older versions of DVDFab9 working, but I can't seem to find the older versions to download.

    I have a version of 8 that tried reading the disc for about 45 minutes and then crashed. I had to manually copy the folder from the disc to even get that far.

    Thank you for any help.

    make sure that you are using the latest version of dvdfab and
    it has internet access for the bluray decryption. also please post
    the dvdfab internal log files.

      Thank you for your response. Before I post the logs, I wanted to verify on the version. When I received the error first, I was running an older version of 9. I then ran the updater this morning and am now running 9.2.0.1. When I run the updater now, it says that I am running the latest version (9.2.0.1). I see on the website that 9.2.0.8 (and a few other releases are available). Is it normal that the updater doesn't see those?

      I'll grab the logs from 9.2.0.1 and then update manually from the web and get those as well.

      After seeing another post, I thought I should also mention that the Bluray ripper/copier is activated both on the client and on my account with DVDFab.

        you may need to to a complete uninstall of dvdfab and run a registry cleaner
        restart your computer and then try to the latest version of dvdfab.

              Thank you. Uninstalling, removing all orphaned registry entries and then installing from scratch resolved the issue.
