9228 is working fine for me.

I agree with archiving releases. Up to now I would let DVDFab upgrade for me automatically. I would never have an installation file to reference. Going forward when a new release is posted, I'll update manually.

Funny how 9231 behaves. It will start off at high fps'. Then drop quickly down to the 30 fps or less. About every 20s my drive will speed up like it was attempting to read faster only to drop down to a lower rpm. This cycle repeats for the duration of the backup.

9228 is opposite. It starts out running then sprints to the finish line. Not unusual for fps to reach 500 towards the last third of the backup. It's smok'n. : )

Signals. Is reporting our findings in this thread the correct method to report an issue?

When I rolled back to 9228 the speed goes back to normal.

If I ripped the disc: The Night Before (2015)

      DVDfab 9231 – 82.7 FPS
      DVDfab 9228 – 141.31 FPS

I'm using the same drive, DVD, etc. The only difference is the DVDfab version number. I have even gone in and did a clean install on either version and get the same results.

I am using an Intel 4770 and a Nvidia 780ti. Any other suggestions I might try?

Just stay on 9.2.2.8 until the next release, that's what I intend to do.
How to post the internal log

9.2.3.3 still has the same speed issue.

No, I just use DVDs as a general term. More specific, both Blu-ray and DVD are working just fine.
