I had origianlly purchased dvd fab platinum 4 and then updating to version, 5, 6 and now the new 7 with all the other versions still installed on pc. Used the 7 and worked great so decided to delete all the other versions. Now, when I use version 7 it is coming up ( you are going to try dvd to dvd), giving me the impression I am running on a trial here. Saved my original 4 on disc but can not install....how can I fix this.

As a test since I have V4 V5 V6 and V7 on my pc I deleted all but V7 and it still works and shows as registered.
Have you tried deleting V7 and re-installing?
Make sure you have saved your key in a safe place.

All of us old heads keep the previous versions so that on the odd ocassion when a idiosyncracy pops up, we can check with a previous version.
Also, on some ocassions, the older versions handle older titles better."Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Benjamin Franklin 1706-1790

All major versions, ie., Fab 2, 4, 4, 5, 6 & 7 are installed in different folders are are indepenent of one another.
As far as storage, given the fact that most of us have multiple 1 TB or > hdds, archiving 5-12 MB installers is not a problem...
And for the average user, generally a few selected older versions will do the trick. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
