Is there anyway to extend the trial until this is resolved? I purchased DVD copy a few months ago. I just started using ripper last week and would like to purchase it. But now my trial is over I can't use it til you work out the kinks on your end.

If you cant extend the trial, what about a credit of the DVD copy license and then we can just buy the package deal? Personally this would work out better for me as I wanted to change it to lifetime.

    Thanks,

I will post a notice in this thread when it becomes available or if the final method for accessing it is different from the original plan.

I do not know if it is available yet and I can't test it because I am registered for everything. Likewise I have no information on what the exact price will be. Please register and try it periodically, bearing in mind that it is around 2AM in Beijing as this is written, so it may not appear until tomorrow morning Beijing time (could be longer if there are complications getting it running).

It was never the intent to penalize existing users who want to add the Ripper to DVD or Blu-ray Copy. Especially in the case of DVD Ripper, this is a fairly small subset of all users (most have lifetime for both already because it was sold that way for so long) and it was regrettably overlooked.
    Hey All,
I wanted to touch base and check back in to see how the special pricing for previously-registered users of the "Copy" product line was coming with respect for the corresponding "Ripper" product? I see a few more comments in here that were similar to my original post, but I am unable to find anything but renewal options in my members section. Is this still being discussed, or is this being accessed from a different purchasing portal?
    Thanks.

I am still using version 7 atm...I have yet to update to version 8, but if 8 is buggy just downgrade to 7.x

the price for DVDfab is on the upper limit for me.
i would still buy it.... if i had not before.

but....the price is higher but the product is worse.

yes v8 in it´s current state is not worth it.
    it´s unstable and buggy.

I cannot be the only one having this problem can I? And still 49.99...
Also, I have tried on 3 diffenent machines, thought it might have been a cookie or something.

maybe you are selecting the 1 year download feature but that only $6.99 and the DVD back up is $11.99 so that can not be problem. Check and make sure not have the Download security selected anyway as that might be selected
