      Hi Potti,

Thanks for you reply. As you can see from my log file, I'm able to open other blu-rays just fine. I purchased my DVDFab license only a few days ago, with the Lifetime subscription.

Upgraded to v8.0.6.7, still not opening

Still doesn't work in v8.0.6.7. First disc in the log is the failure to open blu-ray disc 1 of BBC Life. 2nd disc is a blu-ray opened successfully.

Are you positive it's the North American version of the BBC Broadcast? Because I know the real UK version is encoded in 1080/50i and that may even cause issues when copying it. I have the NA version of this BBC series and it copies without out issue when I select Full Disc to my HDD. I'm using DVDFab version 8.0.5.6.

            Hi SuperFist,

Is there an easy way to read the region code off the disc? In the fine print on the back it says "Distributed by BBC Worldwide Americas, Inc" and "Distributed in the USA and Canada by Warner Home Video, Inc". It was purchased on the US Amazon.com site.

I have a lifetime subscription. I'm wondering if that might be related to the odd date of "19691231" in my log file where i get the "expire" message. 12/31/1969 is typical for when a date is stored in a program as a zero.

Hmmm... that's weird because mine says the same thing. Have you tried installing an old version like mine? 8.0.5.6.

Thanks for checking your box. I tried 8.0.5.6 as you suggested, pulled it from oldapps.com but no luck. I get the exact same problem. What duration license do you have?

                  Hi banister,

Could you please check and post your license info for "Blu-ray Copy" in "About" window of DVDFab?

Please hide your personal info and order number.

                  Best Regards,
                  Fengtao

                      Was this ever resolved?

I am seeing this issue with several BBC documentaries; i wonder if it has something to do with the protection.

                      I'm running Windows 8 / 64-bit / 9.0.4.2

                      thanks

I never was able to get it to work, and eventually gave up. Other discs worked fine.
