Tangled freeze problems

Having problems with Tangled keeps freezing up at different spots in the movie. Also had this problem with Jackass 3. Same dvd fab version used.8.0.8.5. Here are my logs. Don't know why it says i selected burn speed selected x4.0 when i selected x2.0 Any reason why this would happen when i selected x2.0

Hi 0brian
My suggestion would be to use ImgBurn as your burn engine, the VSO burn engine is a little buggy for some, it is "free" and you will find a tutorial here on how to set it up with Fab http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=562 ,remember to set up the AWS for each type of media you use, and that should be set at 1/2 the rated speed of your media.

Have had a lot of issues with 8.0.8.5 alot of bugs with it. I just reinstalled 8.0.7.3 and now the movie tangle backs up fine. No freezing issues. I think they need to update the new version because of bug issues. I also had problems with new version not asking to insert bland media with copy process is done. Have to wait about 3 to 4 minutes till it would ask me for blank media where as the older version ask right away. Thanks for your reply but it is not a vso burn problem.

Finally someone else is having this problem too. I backed up Tangled and Toy story 3 both play choppy and skip. Just before doing so I upgraded my firmware on my burner and standalone player and upgraded to dvdfab 8085. For a week I have been eliminating one by one too find out what was causing it. I will go back to 8073 like obrian. I will post back and let the forum know the results of these two Blu rays....

I just went back to 8073 and it fixed both of my backup's. Just F.Y.I. for anyone having the same issues.

8073 solution

Hi All
FYI 8073 will allow tangled to backup fine. copied to disk with vso, and will also work to hdd and imgburn. wanted to make sure either wasn't an issue.
Informed that QA team is advised of problem.

Was wondering if anyone know if the new beta version works now with Tangled? 8.0.8.6 I know it just came out today. Just wanted to say thanks to dvdfab for a great product and a great support team and to all of the members here on the forum. I got to say this is the best software out there for dvd's & blue ray. I have tried other programs and none compare to this program and this forum is the best out of all of them. Thanks to everybody. Have a good weekend. Look forward to many more years here at the forum.
