I tried it again, same errors as before. It seems as if I am stuck until they do an update.

      Cant' Compress Transformers 3

I copied Main Movie to my desktop at BD50. Then i tried to compress that to BD25 so i could burn to my 25 GB blank disk. Well 4 times it always stops at 10.82% and goes no further. I messed with the codecs which was suggested. I checked the Disable all GPU codes, and all others are set to Software. I have the latest software installed 8.1.2.5.. ANy suggestions ??

Ok i guess i figured it out.. This version v8.1.2.5 doesn't like my Anti-Virus software which is Bit Defender. I un-installed it and now the compression is going strong. Right now its at 40% and still running. I've had Bit Defender Ani-Virus for 6 months and never had a problem with other Blue Ray back-ups. Who woulda figured since i don't think i should have had that much problems with DVD Fab. Oh well i'll know next time i guess.

I got it to compress by using an older version 8.0.7.03 (someone else used this one as well) and it worked! I used the latest 8125 for everything else.

I compressed it using 8.0.7.3 but couldnt get it to burn. This is crazy wasting hours with it. I have backed up 32 movies and this is the first one I had this much trouble with

I'm done with it for awhile untill there is an update

Well after i un-installed my anti-virus i was able to do all using the latest software version v8.1.2.5. Took 1hr:45m to compress and then burn using IMG. IF you don't have latest version of IMG Burn i would recommend that also. Other than that Good Luck...

                        Transformers: Dark of the Moon

I successfully backed up Transformers Blu-ray using latest version v8.1.2.5 and it took about 30 hours to rip. Recognized disc as Transformers_3_AC and it burned with no issues. Dont understand why it took this long to rip but it did rip properly considering I have a six core Phenom that was showing constant usage on all six cores while the ripping process was running.

Well i have a Dell Studio XPS with a 6 core Phenom and it took me probably 2 and half hours to copy and burn. The only major problem i had was compression. I had to un install my anti virus and then it worked. I wouldn't even do a copy if it took 3 hours let alone what you had to do. Sounds like a major setting problem to me.

Mine burnt just has some glitches. If I just back up the whole movie on a DL disk will there still be glitches?

Well when make a back up copy of a movie sometimes it takes out a few things. That is the copyright stuff they have in there. My copy probably lost 10-15 seconds of one scene. Try a DL copy, but u still might get a glitch here and there... Also that was alot of compression for that movie....
