If I read your initial post correctly you rip the main movie as BD50 and then attempt to burn it to a BD25 blank, if that is correct is there a possibility the main movie exceeds the 23GB default write size for the blank?

I did send a burn log earlier, and I updated the drive firmware as suggested.
I'm not sure of "GPU crap"? I only have a ASUS M4A78T-E MB using built in video and is not overclocked.

I Removed and CCleaned DVDFab as suggested, and will try Ver 8.0.8.5 as suggested to see if that does anything.

I can try burning direct to disk when I have one available. I did setup Imgburn last weekend. However I never even get to the burn process.
The source folder size may be greater than 23.28GB mentioned earlier, but I thought that DVDFab is supposed to automatically compress to fit. If it is greater than 23.28GB then should I be using 50GB blanks?

      Thanks.

If you select BD25 under main movie and your target drive, it should compress and burn the BD25 blank. Attached:

What's the file size on the HDD? I'm checking now with a big movie to see how accurate the compression is.

It's 26GB with properties on the top folder. Thanks.

I assume that's before you compress it again to burn it right?

Well I'm In V8.2.2.6, Select BluRay Copy -> Main Movie; Select Source Folder pointed to top of folder; Target is the burn drive; Pull down to "BD25 1080p/i" : Size: 86% (26.094GB -> 22.461GB).

Update: I removed Ver 8.2.2.6 and ran CCleaner then installed Ver 8.0.8.5., had to reboot. Performed same copy procedure just mentioned and it's still sitting at 14.7% after 1.5hrs.
I will quit this and do the same procedure on a folder that is 21.8GB it says size 100% 20.786GB.

Youser! Anyone. Am I going to have to buy 50gb media to burn disks over 23GB? Thanks.

Only if you want zero compression. How much compression is acceptable is subjective but I regularly will compress down to 80% to get the main movie to fit on a BD-R and I can't tell a difference.

Thanks. But my issue in this forum post is that when I burn from BD-R folders greater than 25gb DVDFab from 8.0.8.5 up to 8.2.2.6 it won't compress, it just never gets to the burning of the disk because it sits forever processing. Folders less than 25gb burn fine.
