New DVDFAB still gives me the commentary

Please go to "Common Settings>General>Preview" page and choose "Internal" as decoder, then restart fab, the preview windows will work fine.

I did it and when it went to restart it just keeps crashing. I'll have to uninstall and reinstall.
I have DVDFab9016 even though a window pops saying there is a DVDFab9017,
but when I click on it I do see it.

Well I tried that it didn't work, so I restored my pc that is only a day old and that didn't work.

What the bloody Hell.

I do have the right one don't I?

I said it once and I'll say it again.
"Damn you Murphy's Law".

Follow up troubleshooting.

Well I got it back on my pc, but afraid to go by those instructions now. lol

Sorry about that if you're addressing me.
I'm new to this due to I haven't had any problem until about 3 updates ago.
I came here about commentary and found the answer, but now since they updated it don't work any more. The original problem was solved by removing the hd and that will take out the commentary.

Follow up troubleshooting.

I went back to the 8226 version and that one did the same thing.
I have windows 7 64 bit.
I updated my video card and about to try and clean up my registry which I hate doing. Never go into your registry is what I've been told.
