    I can confirm that not just for BD50 to BD25 but to BD9 and BD5. I often copy my Blu-rays for BD5s for the kids to destroy. I built my i7-3770K system on a Z77 motherboard. Burner is an LG WH14NS40, also sold as BH14NS40.

    Also, if you copy the Blu-ray to your hard drive as a Main Movie BD50 and the m2ts file is less than 23 GB you can just burn the BDMV folder to a blank BD25 with any burning app (including the one built into Windows) - no compression needed.
