Cinavia Fix?

Boy am I happy $72.94 delivered no tax no shipping new optical drive and power supply with converter cable does 3d and it's even a burner I may replace my Pioneer blu ray drive with this one and use the Pioneer burner for the media player.

Outstanding job guys thanks.Even though this was listed in my media players manual I blew right buy it when i first got the media player I always read the manual and never gave this a thought.

What power supply and converter cable is best for this LG drive looks like a lot less trouble than the Sony drive i will order both today as soon as i get the proper converter cable and power supply link or item number as their different ones on the sight is one better than the other for our building a drive solution to work with our media players?

Becuase after you get that.bd drive out theres is not going to be s outer shield so it will be exposed
Dust is s optical drives worse enemy

This drive is big 8 x 6 1/4 I don't think this hard drive box will do maybe just the wire and power supply or box made for the big optical drive it feeds from the center remember.

Ok been doing se research
the bd drive is inside that enclosure on ps3 so
Take that driver board off (chip board )and top plate of enclosure and see what the drive and connections look like

I want to use the Sony drive but the ribbon cable doesn't look like it fits the kit superfist is getting

Im thinking that bd drive is ide data port on it since you said ribbon this should work if its 5.25 drive but you get the point

I found my media players manual the eject button ejects the disk of a cd/dvd/bd-rom drive attached to the media player Yes this is going to work just need the correct cable and power supply can't wait to hook this up need help with cable/power supply needed.

Superfist can you give me a link to see if the cable your getting is the correct one for me?

I found a good way to get back at Sony use their optical drive to defeat the Cinavia problem they created in the very machine they infected (My playstation)

Dam I am loving this to no end.This project must be completed smells of victory.

This day will go down as the day i took my Sony to the levy but the levy was dry then the good old boys here resurrected my Sony from the day it died (from cinavia) and we didn't even drink any whiskey or rye.Now Glenns new machine will rock till the day that he dies and this my friends is no lie.

So are you going to buy a new drive or are you wanting to use that sony drive
