Are you having trouble finding the logs files? I know your over worked at 12 hours per day and maybe they won't tell me anything but if I don't see them I can't tell if it's something your doing wrong.Even people that read log files daily here including the developer of Fab has made mistakes in reading log files.

Oh by the way did you happen to buy a new spindle of those cheaper (verb.) disks or are you using the same disk spindle that you have made disks that don't play any longer?

Img burn also tells you disk ID info. so if you don't remember fab can id a disk for you just in case you didn't know this but you may already know this not being a newbie.

Rich brought up a good question also do you put stick on labels on your disks?

Copied a disc again using DVDFab 9. Burned ISO with Imgburn. Using LG burner referenced in previous post. Disc was unreadable on the Panasonic. Played on the Samsung. Original plays on both. Blank was RiDATA 50GB.

I am unable to post a log via paste. I have altered text to not include any instance of the text "img", no luck. I get the error below no matter what I do to the log. Will have to attach.

You have included 5 images in your message. You are limited to using 4 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the BB code tag and HTML tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.

Ok the new Fab version is 9046 not 9045 you used as per log file.
Read this: 19:57:36 Source Media Supported Read Speeds: 4x, 4.8x
I 19:57:36 Source Media Supported Write Speeds: 2x, 4x from log file.

If the supported source media supported read speeds are 4x and 4.8x and the media supported write speeds are 2x & 4x if you burn at 2x because it's supported how can you read at 2x unsupported as per log.I would burn at 4x supported by media read and write speeds for this brand of disks. Please also note these ri tec disks give a lot of drives trouble.Do a search on the internet for more info on this.

Also what is elby clone drive? If your using a clone drive with Fab use Fabs clone drive not any other for good results it's free.

You can set img burn burner to do a opc before burn to adjust laser power before burning disks recommended when using

cheap media and when having burning problems.

Performing Optimum Power Calibration (OPC ) is a special technique used in newer recordable drives to perform a test write and read in an area inside of the lead-in, in order to determine the best laser power for recording and to adjust to each recordable disc, which may vary slightly from different manufacturers, or for other reasons.

Don't use stick on labels they unbalance the drive at high speeds and will trash it in no time.

Does the Panasonic also have auto update? could it also have downloaded firmware in a power outage? I would say its bad disks but it plays on the computer and your other player plus one played on a high end player so i say its your player because the above and mostly because no one else is complaining about this issue.

Also if the 80% of your Fab made disks that didn't play in the Samsung now play in it this is even more reason to believe your Panasonic player is at fault.Recheck the firmware make sure it was correct for your model as my model is one model newer than yours and their never was a upgrade for it and it plays Fab iso's just fine.

To make your collection play on a second player I recommend a used or refurbished (comes with warrentee) perfect for a second room or for the kids use.For the price how can you go wrong.

My Panasonic DMP-BD-75 is cinavia free and sells used for $27.12 on Amazon or Refurbished $33.98 they mostly come with some kind of guarantee. You spent more on different 50 gig disks than a used player will cost you.Do the math not to mention your time spent on this problem for a guy that works 12 hrs daily i would have brought another player at these low prices.just my thoughts.

if you want to try one last thing download this old version of fab 8085 Just use it to burn the disk don't use img burn and see if it will play on the Panasonic.

Sometimes doing things old school will work with older players.
