Homeland Season 2 - Internal Error

Trying to backup Homeland Season 2, discs 2 and 3 and Fab 9.0.6.3 and 9.0.6.5 beta are both throwing an "Internal error occurred" while opening the Blu-ray Source.

I've disabled Lightning Encoding and set all A/V Codecs to software, whatever is happening it's not being recorded in any of the DVDFab logs.

Any idea's?

That might be an operating system error Norm. Have you tried uninstalling and running Ccleaner on the registry prior to reinstall? Sounds like it might be a registry snafu?

Homeland Season 2 - Internal Error

I was able to backup a DVD with no problem and Homeland Season 2 disc 1, it was only discs 2 and 3 that had this problem. I should mention that I have three computers with Fab on them, two are Windows 7 and one is Windows 8 and all three had this same internal error while trying to open the Blu-Ray source so I doubt that all three have an operating system problem. Also I have backed up other Blu-ray discs in the last couple days and these are the only ones I've had problems with.

I doubt it too in light of this information. Sort of points to the discs if it is the same on several computers.

Homeland Season 2 - Internal Error

As odd as it seems, I'd like to report that today I'm not having the problem I reported yesterday. I just tried disc 2 again on 9.0.6.5 beta and it didn't throw that internal error this time and appears to be doing a Full Disc Copy without any problem.

I can only conclude that the Fab people did something on the back end that fixed it since nothing has changed on my end, I didn't even reboot my computer.

So Norsk59, maybe give it another try and see if it's the same for you.

DVDFab 9.0.7.0 (Win) American Horror Story - Internal Error

I'd like to report the same issue that I had with Homeland Season two on American Horror Story Season two, disc 1 copy's fine but disc 2 and 3 are giving me the same internal error.

I'll wait a day or so and try it again but I suspect that the Fab people need to do something on the back end like last time.

Did you try it in 9065 that you were able to copy the other disk set with the same type problem?

It was either 9.0.6.5 or 9.0.6.9 beta's that copied Homeland disc 1 but wouldn't copy disc 2 or 3 and when I tried it the next day the disc's got past the "Opening Blu-ray Source" message and were able to copy the discs without me doing anything else. As Audit13 suggested, maybe the server database was updated.

Yes I understand what you are saying but that was for a different boxed set of disks I am now referring to the American Horror Story disks 2&3 why not try the same version of Fab that you used with the other disks to see if it also works on that version of fab maybe it's version 9070 or not a update problem.
