    Unable to copy on Win8 PC

    I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 8 and I can't get 9.0.7.x versions or 9.1.x versions to work on my computer

    Intel i7 3770 with onboard Intel HD Graphics 4000 chipset

    The disc Analysis starts and seems to hang, no response even when I try to cancel it.

    3m 18.86s: Intel GPU acceleration for Lightning-Shrink enabled
    Turn off lightning shrink if this don't work try checking use all software in Fab settings.Trying them 1 at a time will tell us if one or the other is interfering.

      It seems to have gotten going after disabling lightning shrink (hasn't completed yet). So does that mean no Intel GPU support on Win8? Used to work fine with Win7 I think.

        radicall:More information is necessary.Let us know if it completes and send us a internal log file with just lightning shrink off and the program working.

        Then I would try the latest version of Fab to see if the same thing happens with lightning shrink off and on then we will know it's this and the developers can look at this.Send us internal log files for the newest version of Fab with and without lightning shrink off.

        Also try another disk to make sure it's not just one disk your having problems with.And check to see if your drivers are up to date.

          Intel Quick Sync works just fine on Windows 8/8.1.

          Make sure you have the latest Intel HD driver from here;

            By the way, if you haven't already I would update to 8.1, it's a free update through the app store. Just go to the app store and it should be huge tile that you'll notice right away.

              Once you've done that, there is an even newer driver here;

                martythebrit: Actually I am running 8.1 totally forgot about that.

                I was having trouble ripping when I set the output as BD/25, even with Lightning shrink and all other accelerators off.

                Once I set the output to BD/50, I was able to rip. Then I cancelled the copy, used the folder as a source and told it to copy to a BD25 disc and it worked like a charm.

                So I have a workaround, but still would like a solution. Log Attached
