I think a processor like mine and a motherboard could be had for around 500.

Keep in mind glenns that the first thing I do is rip the full disc to the HDD and do everything else from the folder so I'm not limited by the speed of the optical drive and that in itself speeds things up a lot!

      Hey niner,

My build is over 4 years old now...built it to coincide with the retail release of win 7
It was a solid middle-of-the-roader back when.

      Yup, it's a core i7. Has a EVGA 260 GTX Superclocked GPU.
Dunno why I haven't built another...seems overdue to me too.
Guess my rig and I are both old farts...

Still, 30-35 minutes to decrypt a BD and about 45 minutes to convert to an mkv...no big deal.
I mean, how many BDs can you buy anyway?...
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

90312: How much for a bare new computer with what you got in it I mean i can't upgrade this old 2 core with small power supply and all so what will it cost santa same brand, memory and all? Have plenty of drives keyboards screens, mouse but must have 1.4 hdmi output so i can test 3d blurays on it.I use the media player to play them.P.S. I always convert from the hard drive also except in rare cases when I have to from the disk.

9.1.1.9 Red 2 still has Copy Protection Black screen

just tried Red 2 Rental with 9.1.1.9 and did a full disc copy to a iso on hard drive, but about 5 minutes into playing the movie, The black screen still comes up warning of copy protection violation (not Cinavia).
tried to get a copy of the message playing it with powerdvd but the screen where the warning is showing looks like a blank black box doing a screen shot... and I tried to take a picture with a cell phone but the text is not readable, So Red 2 still has a copy protection that DVDFab has not beaten.
