I don't have Cars 2, but the last few Disney flicks of mine that I backed up, I had to leave it at a full 50GB in size, and do a main movie - selecting Chapters 1-12 (or whatever midway point is) and burn it to one 25GB disc... then did chapters 13-end onto another 25gb disc.

Compression has not been my friend with my Disney movies for some reason.

Dgrams:Try that with planes 3d or smurfs 2 3d or Cars 1 3d and see if it plays without audio problems. All the latest Disney movies are showing audio problems or freeze problems so make sure you play them through also as we have to use the tsmuxer on them or they just won't work.Even the 50 gig planes 3d iso gave problems.

I need to retract a previous statement on monsters inc 3d the main movie iso then tsmuxer froze when when trying to finish with fab so I did a clone iso and pulled main movie from there thru tsmuxer then split with fab to two 25gb discs worked fine so much for my short cut lol

Would love to try those, but don't own any of those movies.
Not a fan of any of those, so I doubt I will be able to try them.

The latest one I had was Monsters U, (which I also really did not care for)
That one I did a 25GB compression on and was fine.

Frozen was awesome in the theatre.. I will be getting that one when it comes out.

i am having trouble with cars 2 3D, ripped to 50gig iso then convert to 25gig iso and stops at 31% every time. i don't even get a 25gig part iso file created and it doesn't even place an iso in the folder when i start the compression.

i ripped to 50gig iso with xxxxxx and used fab to compress to 25gig iso and it worked fine this time. not sure why it wouldn't work ripping to 50gig with fab.

I just got a copy of Planes for cheap. Still haven't seen the movie yet, but I just saw a trailer for Planes2 (or whatever it is called) when we went to The Lego Movie. The 3D looks very cool, so now I want to watch Planes.

                  Anyhoo...
I did a full 50GB clone of Planes, and when playing the iso back, yes.. I have audio problems from time to time. (I am using whatever version of DVDFab is current as of the date of this post - am at work, so not sure which version it is)
I am going to try going into MOVIE ONLY and ripping chapters 1-11 and see if I have the same issues. If Okay, I will then do the same with chapters 12-21 and see if that works as well.
I have my doubts that it will work, but going to give it a try anyways.

I could get a copy of Smurfs 2 for cheap as well right now, but not sure I really want a Smurfs Movie. lol

Nope.. didn't work splitting it up. Audio stutters on Planes with any copy or clone I try.

Tried a few different versions of DVDFab.. giving up on backing up Planes, because frankly... I don't care if something happens to this movie. lol
We watched it last night. About 2.5 or 3 out of 5 stars. 3D made it bearable.

                    Oh well.

You must use the tsmuxer on Planes 3d and new disney/pixtar movies until Fab comes up with a solution.

Rip store brought disk using Fab use clone/burn to make a 3d 50 gig iso output to hard drive this makes a 3d clone of disk (exact copy minus copy protection)

Use DVDFab > Blu-ray Copy > Main Movie to identify the main movie's title number (needed for tsMuxeR) or use bd info. for same data.Copy this down it's the title number Fab picks or bd info picks to make a main movie.Close Fab.

Mount 3d ISO to virtual drive now open tsMuxeR click add then find and click on the virtual drive you mounted the iso movie in now select BVMV and it's files open select play list now you need the play list number you identified with main movie or bd info. click on that file and it loads into tsmuxer the proper whole main movie loads in tsmuxer.Set the tsmuxer output to blu ray iso

Deselect unwanted tracks now look at top bar on tsmuxer change to blu ray theirs a box on the right to (add first mpls file) this is the file number you identified with main movie or bd info. put this number in that box and start muxing.

When done you will have a new iso on desktop that will have solved the overlapping frames in the audio tracks and the ssif files will be combined to one big file making the new 50 gig iso able to play on any device without problems.

Use this ISO to do any shrinking to 25 gigs or converting with Fab.
