I have exactly the same issue, is there a problem or should I just download the previous version or do a clean reload? Sill love the product.

Yeah Simca I would go with a clean uninstall, prefetch and scrub the registry as well. I don't consider compressing to 25GB from the DVD in less than an hour a problem.

Thanks for the help, I'll take your advice. I tried the "Full Disk" function to a 50GB disc and it worked flawlessly; but, not the "main Movie" compression to a 25GB disc. A great form, thanks once again.

Thinking on your issue I tried The Hobbit - Smaug that I have saved to the HDD as a full disk. I always save to HDD as full disk and then put the original up. You can buy a TB HDD for about the price of 3 BR movies. Anyway I compressed to 25GB "Main Movie" from the full rip in 20 minutes, I can't remember it being much if any faster than that from the HDD folder.

The 4770K should be a little faster than our 3770K's maybe two or three minutes shaved off.

One other thing, I have Intel's Ready Boost installed, not to be confused with Microsoft Readyboost, it allows the CPU to overclock when tasks and temperature permit. I never multitask while doing movies.

I just did main movie of Van Helsing BR:

Did you mean Ready Boost or Turbo Boost?
