DVDFab Bku-ray horribly slow (50 to 25)

    I don't know about you but I think 18;23 to convert a Bluray is fast, it takes 10 to 12 minutes to do a DVD9 to a DVD5.

      Speeds of less than minutes to re-encode to 25GB size is unreal.

      An update to my situation:

      Somewhere here I read that GPU lightning shrink should not be used, instead using software re-encoding. Do not remember the reason why.

      I turned GPU lightning shrink back on and the time was around 4 hrs. That is what it had been typically.

      This week I put in a GTX 650 Ti with 768 cores and now it is done between 1 hr and 1.5 hrs. For me on this 4 core box, it is much better, and usable.

        cuda as fast as intel now with v6.1.6.2
