      right now I'm testing it and its 2% through but I tried to burn it with verify and I got the same message as above log.

        Looks like the write speed in the software is set to 2x so that could be the problem?

          I never use verify, it is pretty much useless. The best verification is in the player.

            And it wont let me go down any lower than 2X but like I said the test is going good so far. So I wonder why the burn wont work.Atleast I know the burner isnt shot.

                I'm not sure what this is in your logs but, I to have been seeing this during the burn process within ImgBurn doing DVD to DVD.

                  We'll all is good I just got a good burn of Zombieland. I went into imgburn and went to where it has the names of burners and I clicked Pioneer since they suposidly made this burner and clicked on something and bam it worked took 1h5min to burn just the movie.

                    same problem

                    i have a LG blu ray drive (BH 08) and i get the same power calibration error after i use dvd fab and try to burn with img burn. I have to completely power down my computer (cold boot) and then everything is fine, until i want to use fab again. needless to say it's a good thing i have a ton of HD space....this has lead to batch processing of my blu ray backups.
