    trouble compressing

    Here I am again a novice. Just waited 4hr 45 minutes for a movie to compress and copy. When I inserted disc and imagburn started it said I didnt have enough room on the disc. When I started I checked bd25. Here is the log. I answered no to keep going since not enough room on disc. Brand new Ridata 4x bd-r 25gb. I am copying movie only with dts and english only

      Try another disc. and also i would go ahead and untick the option to automatically remove temp files. i do this in case something like this happens i dont have to spend the next hr compressing again. but the drawback is you have to manually purge the temp folder.

      another idea i had is to rip the blu ray to the hdd using bd50 and then from the hdd compress and try and burn.

        Sounds good , where is the box to untick to not save temp files? Also can you tell me how to do the other option you gave me. I am not computer savoy so need steps. I only have the trial version of dvdfab8 so I cant just rip only .....I think.

          If you've been using the software less than 30 days, you still have fulll functionality. The retail app and the free ware app are identical when downloaded and installed. It the product is not activated with a regkey, it will revert to the freeware version afetr 30 days.

          Go to Common Settings icon (upper right corner white check mark in the green circle) > General > untick the Delete temporary files when done box.
