    Blu-ray reading problems

I have been using DVDFab for many years for DVD.
    It is a fantastic program.
    Recently purchased Blu-ray to DVD.
I cannot get the program to successfully read a Blu-ray disc.
It cycles through the "Openning disc" function and freezes many times but will not reach the end of the process.
I have to force the program to end (task manager) and then I have to reboot because my pointer keeps freezing for several seconds at a time.
    Any help appreciated.

I have just re-installed version 8.0.8.5 and problem has gone.
    Any idea why?

        Log

How do I get a log?
        DVDFab has not crashed.
I thought a log was only generated after a crash.
