Problem backing up "The Super Hero Squad Show Volume 2"

I tried backing up this dvd. I get the "error" message with "ignore, ignore all, etc" and I hit ignore all...then when i put the blank dvd it stops backing up at 73% so I had to cancel it. this happened twice, took about hour each.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Perhaps you need to clean the surface of the disc or is it scratched?

that is possible, I was thinking that could be the case but who knows. I checked the dvd for major scratches and didn't see anything bad. I also cleaned it as well just incase. there are little tiny scratches but not anymore and any less than any other dvd's.

      Thanks for the input!

is there a way to post error messages? I've seen other people copy and paste their error burning messages. How do I get that?

              Hi dc1225,

              1. Please go to "Common Settings" disable "Pathplayer", copy this DVD to your hard drive first, then choose the saved folder as source to burn again.

              2. You'd better use Version8.0.7.3 to burn, if still fail, post the dvdfab-vso logs.

              Regards,

              mona

Thank you Mona. Mona, do I do these steps ONLY for this movie and reverse the settings for other movies? or can I keep these settings as permanent?

                  Hi dc1225,

You need to know the default setting of pathplayer is "Always enable pathplayer". But for some old dvd movies, you should disable it to copy them. So for your problem, please set your setting of pathplayer back to "Always enable pathplayer" in order to copy other dvd movies.

                  Best regards,
                  Anny
