    Hi Saxamattone

      bummer!

I'm actually burning a disc right now using 8106 and it's working but I had to use 8085 to rip it. This is a great product but I just wish I could get the latest versions to work right. I would happily keep using 8085 if it were still being supported with the latest protection blockers or whatever you call it. I only tried to upgrade because when I backed up "Made" on 8085 it didn't remove all of the protection. That's the only time that's happened but I just want to avoid trouble in the future.

        Hi Saxamattone

Please uninstall 8106 and use CCleaner to clean all leftover registry entries, then reinstall version 8106 again to see if it will now read the disc.

I deleted 8106 and ran CCleaner. After reinstalling the program successfully opened "S.Darko". So I pulled the disc out to see if I could repeat success and tried again. And it went back to doing exactly what it was doing before. I changed nothing in between the attempts, just pulled the disc out and put it back in.

I assume you didn't need me to delete 8085 so I left that program alone.

            Hi Saxamattone
Sorry it went back to doing what it did before.
I would leave 8085 installed and use that if it is working for you.

I appreciate everyone trying to help but unfortunately I don't feel like we really got anywhere. I will keep using 8085 I just wish it would be supported with the most recent copy protection removers.

It looks like 8.1.0.9 fixed the problem. (fingers crossed)
