I quickly tried playing Smurfs DVD through two of my Blu-Ray reader/burners and I still get a "Read Error" when running my DVDFAB 8.1.3.6.
Does anyone have a solution or know when FAB will be able to rip my Smurfs so my grandchildren can play my backup & I can preserve my original?

How I got it was as I stated. Simple as that. I have now ripped it to a hard drive using 4 different brands of software with no problems.

I am using 8.1.3.6 Dec. 1 2011 Release on my Smurfs DVD purchased today and it says there is a read error. I will try playing it with TMT 5 and then I will try FAB & see what happens.

Guest repliedTry playing the movie with VLC or whatever you have for a few minutes before opening DVDFab.
I just tried it on my second PC and had to to that before fab would open it.
Why the difference in Fab on the two different PCs I have no idea.

How he was able to do what he said I have no clue. Not only that he had to get a copy even before the release date. In the US it just came out tonight at midnight, which is when I picked up my copy.
When trying the v8.1.3.5 Getting reading errors. Tried clicking Retry, Tried clicking ingnore all, still NO LUCK, tried also disabling the pathfinder and still NO LUCK. Once I click the ignore all, it just sits there and scans for hours with NO LUCK opening.
"Fred Fish" I seen is also having the same troubles.
Sent in a report. Any info on this and being able to copy this disc would be MOST THANKFUL! I would post a log info if I knew where to find it and knew if there was anything I needed to block out ID wise.
