This does not help troubleshoot with the VSO burning engine by recommending Imgburn.
Don't know why it's parsing, but it's probably trying to do the verification stage. But you're ejecting during the parsing process which is not a good idea.
Are you using an admin or user account? I notice the VSO burning engine is still using Patin-Couffin driver, instead of advanced SPTI interface. If you log in with admin privilege, VSO burning engine should be using SPTI, which is what Imgburn is using; otherwise, it will use Patin-Couffin driver.
You might want to do a clean full uninstall and reinstall the latest DVDFab beta. Check your burn option in the settings.
Thank you everyone, using the DVDFab5 VSO burn engine in DVDFab6 seems to be working. I still would like to know why the new VSO burn engine will not burn correctly with my computer. At least I have a work around for now.

I'm guessing you meant to type Img instead of VSO (above, highlighted in red).
Img is a more robust burn engine...as bean55 says, it's all that I use too, unless I'm trying to reproduce an error or otherwise experimenting.
Good to hear that it looks like you're in SPTI. You might find that a better quality media will work just fine with VSO.
At least you're up and running, partially anyway...

Please go into device manager and at/near the bottom, find and expand VSO to display patin-couffin driver. My bet is that you'll find multiple installs.
Regardless, uninstall all instances of patin-couffin driver.
At this point, I believe it's reasonable to go ahead and just d/l and install the latest Fab version 6.0.7.0.
Later on if it becomes necessary, we can worry about doing a clean uninstall.
Only had one instance of patin-couffin driver. Uninstalled, burned using older version of DVDFab 5. Great, used SPTI interface, no problem:

The patin-couffin driver is back in device managment? Now what? The disks now play in my stand alone DVD player, this is good, but something still doesn't seem right.
DVDFab 5 is the last version that worked flawlessly for me.
Thought the VSO burn engine was supposed to use SPTI interface, not patin-couffin?
I'm still getting this warning:

Forgive me if I am missing something, just getting confused.
You have not answered whether you installed and ran 6.0.7.0 under admin or user account? I'm baffled why it's still using Patin-Couffin driver instead of SPTI unless you answer the question.
The 6.0.7.0 log shows that the burn is successful, just the finalisation warning that you may ignore I'm not sure. You just have to play the disc to see everything's ok. As have already mentioned, the quality of media used is important too - we can't stress it enough.
Another alternative is to uninstall the Patin-Couffin driver so the engine will have no choice but to use the SPTI interface. I haven't tested this option, so you will have to do it and report back. Use this tool to do a clean full uninstall:
I have also alerted VSO about this thread. If the problem persists regarding burning, they recommend that you contact them directly and reference this thread.
Yes, installed and ran v6070 under admin. I am the only user of this computer and I am an aministrator.
I did an uninstall in device manager of patin-couffin prior to d/o v6070, but after installing it was listed again? Will try the tool for the clean uninstall.
I will upgrade to SP3 and purchase better quality media in the future to see if that helps.
I did an uninstall in device manager of patin-couffin prior to d/o v6070, but after installing it was listed again?
That's because during the installation setup, you choose to install VSO burning engine which will install Patin-Couffin driver. That's fine, you can uninstall with the tool I referenced anytime you want.
Does your DVDRW play OK, despite the minor warning, based on your last posted log? If it plays OK, then there's nothing to worry about. Besides, this is a RW after all. You're planning to burn to a DVDR right?
