I noticed that there were 28 chapters after it finished ripping. If you go to chapter 28, it starts at 1 hr 39 min 23 sec. The movie is 1:52:13 long. Does it make sense for that last chapter to be that long? I mean if it was the last chapter or second last, it should be playing the closing credits, right?

      District 9

I, too, am having the same problems as most in this forum, but I just had complete success in ripping District 9 with version 5.2.3.2, pathplayer enabled always, movie only, english audio track, commentary tracks. I ripped it to the hard drive, haven't tried burning a cd yet... figured I'd let y'all know... peace!

I'm not finding the option for VSO Inspector. Is this a separate program?

        Thanks.

Don't forget to rip the first English subtitle track too--as forced subtitles are used throughout this film.

I had issues a number of times that matched the others posted. Finally got a good full disc copy to hard drive folder, which then copied to DVD with no errors. Used 6.2.0.5 (paid). Had no luck with Shrink.

Got it to work by turning pathplayer off and just doing the main movie option... Wish I could've put the main menu on but I will take what I can get... Using version 6.2.1.5 paid version...

I'm having the same problem a lot of others are having @ about 3% so I scanned it with Nero SpeedDisk and it's 100% good so the pressing is ok. I tried something else in my tool box and it ripped fine in 9:50. I believe the later versions of Fab are having trouble with the structural protections on this Sony DVD.
How to post the internal log

                  Hi dorrel,
Try down loading ImgBurn, and use that as your burn engine, and be patient.

                      Ok
I got it to burn using the beta version 6.2.1.5 (paid version). Main movie, pathplayer always enabled. When it got to 98.77% it stalled and after 7-8 minutes it completed.
Took exactly 24.40 minutes from start/ripping to finish burning with Imgburn.

6.2.1.5 Beta Version, Path Player Always Enabled, Main Movie. DVDFAB set at dvd-5.
                      Good Luck

Also works perfectly using old version 5.2.2.6 beta with no flaws.

OK well this movie is giving everyone problems and fengtao is waiting for it to arrive so he can update DVDFab to handle the movie. I personally did not get it as I do not like movies that have the camcorder effect when watching

Yep Magnum is right. I used DVDFAB 6.2.1.5 Beta version and copied Main movie to a dvd 5. (Note I removed French sound track and subtitles.) Got main movie to fit and my Verby S/L NP. I didn't have any major issues in ripping though. I used Imgbrn.
