This is free software to burn DVDs and blu rays put the DVD on your hard drive by changing the output from your dvd drive to a folder in fab then just open img burn and drag and drop into img burn do the burn this way and see if it plays on all your players this will help Fab to see if this is a Fab problem or not.Try it with pathfinder on and off if you have a rewritable disk you won't waste those expensive blanks.

turned off pathfinder did a copy no luck will not play on stand alone or on my computer this was done on the new machine running windows 7 have enclosed internal log.

How about if copy to HDD first and then burning the folder or ISO to disc using ImgBurn?

My issue was a set top player setting. I've been playing MKV files on it and I guess it changes to look for files on the disc. I changed that setting for the disc to BDAV/AVCHD and now it plays them as it should. This is on the Panasonic 871.

Please go to Fab settings click on cog wheel (see screen shot#2) then see (screen shot#1) click dvd settings and the pathfinder page un check always use pathfinder and check disable pathfinder redo disk and burn.This worked for another person I helped with this same disk when done go back and recheck enable pathfinder when necessary.


Note to Fab developers when Fab needs to not use pathfinder (3m 56.75s: SourceSize: 35358 MB
3m 56.75s: OutputSize: 8100 MB) Fab should not burn a disk as it's not playable on outboard players something should stop users from even completing the file as user's won't know until they burn a disk that pathfinder needed to be off for this disk.

sorry about the delay in replying. first I have 3 stand alone players two Panasonics and one sony nun of which will play this dvd, and yes I have internet connection on all of my computers and have a lifetime copy of dvdfab. the last copy I tried to do of this was on a new machine a windows 7 with 9.0.7.2. and have enclosed the internal log below.

Ok I helped another guy with this same movie he had to turn the pathplayer off to do this movie so you should try this.This doesn't explain why you have no burn folder in version 9072 unless Fab doesn't put it in until you burn your first disk so try this.Make sure the computer is connected to the internet also.

Correction to my above post should have said after you take off the computer all versions of fab then using cc cleaner to clean the registry re download Fab from the Fab front page after downloading and running Fab their will be a popup to restart computer do so then Fab will ask you to re register it (email address and password) do so then reset all your settings in Fab and check to see if the burn folder is now in the log files folder.

Also when Fab asks to save settings click no when you take it off the computer so you do a clean uninstall.

You say theirs a burn folder for your version 8 but not for 9072.Now you tried to burn with version 8 and version 8 won't burn the disk but it should make a entry into the burn log when burning fails.If theirs no info in the log then You use copy fulldisc to a dvd disc, so the burn log is included with dvdfab_internal.log so post it after trying full disk to dvd.

I am asking you to open your version 8 log files and their you should have internal and burn folders.Open the burn log cut and past the info into a post here so we can see whats going on.

I still recommend taken all Fab versions off the computer clean registry with cc cleaner A FREE PROGRAM then restart computer download Fab from the front page fab will just ask for password and email address to re register the program then maybe your burn file will show up in version 9 and hope the program works again for you.

You say the disk seemed to burn but won't play on any of my stand alone players are they all Panasonic's or different brands? does it play on the computer in fab pre viewer when you load the disk into fab does it see the disk does windows see the disk?

re-your use 8qt to burn disc, i am using 8.2.2.9. this version will not burn this dvd therefore no burn log to send. the read time took less than 5 mins then went to write which of coarse did not play.
