I think it's a combination of 9.0.7.2 and Panasonic BD players. I just tried another to BD5, won't play in the Panasonic but plays in the computer and plays fine on the PS3. And once again if I use the "To DVD" tab it plays fine in the Panasonic player, sees the DVD structure 9.0.7.2 makes just fine.

Here's what I would do take off all versions of Fab from your computer for this to work then clean registry with cc cleaner a free program you can get do a search on the internet for it.

You have to restart computer after re downloading Fab 9072 and running it.Then after restart register fab and reset all Fab settings. This will show the Fab check file in logs and should show the burn log. When Fab asks you if you want to save personal setting during deleting it from the computer for version 9072 you must check no or this won't work.

Don't forget to load a movie in fab to save your defaults setting for ripper or advanced settings box will be grayed out without a movie loaded in Fab.This should do the trick.

    hi cbr929,,
have checked the DVD ROM box , can you tell what this box does as i have never had any trouble with using this program without this box tick before.
these verbatim dl discs are not cheap and at about 85p per disc i have already used 6 disc on this problem. by the way this world war z is the only disc giving me trouble,
can any one please help with this burn log problem ? is there a program fault as even on a new install the burn log still does not seem show up.
    any way
    regards

Why don't you use 8qt burn a dvd and see if it plays then send us that burn file if it doesn't play on your outboard player.Whats your setting for dvd burn engine? Maybe you should change it to fab burner if set for something else and try.

mickey, this may or may not be related, but I did Dark Skies BR to BD5 today and it did the same thing. Plays on computer but not on my Panasonic BR player. If I browse to the stream folder and click on the m2ts it will play in the player. So I used the To DVD option and that plays fine when inserted in the set top player.

    Hi mickey
As glenns said without the logs it is all guess work.
You say your using Verbatim DL discs, are you setting the book type to DVD ROM in settings?

Without the burn logs we can only guess what the problems are.See if the 8qt burn logs have the logs for the disk your having trouble with if so post it.

If not did you use Fab to do the burn? do you have Fab burner in settings? both blu ray and regular dvds let you choice burner in settings so check to see what the settings have for burning disks which burner is fab set for? Check to see if burn log is checked in settings so it makes one.

You can also burn with img burn and see if the disk will play on your outboard blu ray player.img burn is a free program that works and can be programed in to Fab or used by itself download it and try it find it on the web.

Most important what burn speed did you use? if you burn to fast other players will not be able to read your disks use recommended burn speed in fab or one half rated disk speed so if disk speed is 16x burn at 8x.

Another thing cheap disks won't burn well so use good disks.
