Not able to play in this part of the region.

    Hey DVDFAB,

I just notice something strange prior to trying to backing up the movie Fantastic Four. The movie would play initially ( I played about 4 seconds of the movie) using my window media player. However, afterwards ( a few seconds) when I tried to back up the movie using DVD fab to DVD the software would just hang in the open source state going no further. Now when I try to play the movie using window media player it displays, Not able to play in this part of the region.

Ok, so now I decide to play Fantastic Four with my media center software and it works, no error message. However, after opening the my DVD fab software to try and back up this movie again the same thing. DVD fab just hangs in the open source screen. Now when I try to use the media center I get the same error message displaying on my media center player. Whats the deal here fellas?

It appears once the DVD Fab software is initiated using one of the player above a counter block software stop DVD Fab from doing its magic, yes?

My next move was to download the Img Burn software but I don't see an english version to download and the base version is not working for me.

    It

Ok, after making the changes as describe in the link I can play the movie Fantastic Four. However, once again it gives me the same error when playing it using my media players after I try using DVD Fab. Also it removes my region location (United States, region 1).

Having read this...and your next two posts, I would suggest that you right-click the DVDFab icon, go to properties, and click on 'Run As Administrator'. You might also try setting Pathplayer to the opposite of what it is now, and see if that makes a difference.

Windows Media player is not your best choice for DVD playback...suggest you D/L VLC Media Player and use it. It'll play almost any audio/video format, and will also allow you to preview ripped files for quality and errors.

Imgburn is software strictly for burning your already-ripped files to DVD media... it won't play or rip anything on its own... you say you couldn't find an English version...Where did you look??

It is not looking good. Started just fine for the first 30 min than I started hearing some funky noise coming from my DVD drive the last 2 min of backup. Ejected and restarted received next message, saying trying to burn DVD to DVD and then it just stop responding.

Download malwarebytes install and then run it as you just might have something that not good on computer as that should not be happening and also do what CBR929 said update to SP2 and update your firmware

Just getting back and installing os SP2 x64 windows. AGJ, Malwarebytes? I have Norton 360 Protection. Shouldn't this be comparable to Mawarebytes in removing Anti Malware?

Rather than have us express a bunch of opinions about this, try downloading Malwarebytes (it's a freebie on the web...so no money lost acquiring it...), run a scan, compare the results with what Norton 360 told you, and let us know the end result. (at that point, you may be starting to form your own opinion about Norton 360...)

Will do, DarthCopier. I just seem to have bad luck when it come to downloading free software and only I do it as a last result. Heading over to Cnet now.
