DVDFab crash

I have this same problem with the current 6.2.2.0 beta version and 6.2.1.8 but only with my external samsung dvdrom. You can find the current thread we are troubleshooting in here:

You have same problem so you are using the NonCSS version of DVDFab as well then?

No I was using 6.2.2.0 beta with CSS enabled. If you read the thread we arrived at a solution for my situation. It may be applicable here.
