DVDFab crash

    DVDFab crash

    DVDFab is crashing when I try to rip a movie. It starts to analyze the DVD and the window is suddenly closed.

    Has anyone else experienced this problem?
    I thank you in advance if anyone can help me out.

        cclovis34 to disable pathplayer open up Fab click green check on top half way down click pathplayer click disable and try that.

          I'm trying to find this PathPlayer option, but can't...
          Here are the options showed in the left menu when I open the settings window:

          > Info
          > General
          Customize UI
          GPU Acceleration
          Preview
          Sound
          Network
          Diagnosis
          > DVD / Blu-ray
          Read
          Write
          > Streams
          Audio
          Subpicture
          > DVD to DVD
          Split
          Customize
          - Blu-ray to Blu-ray

              cclovis34 I would suggest installing 6.2.1.8 again http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=2321 or installing the newest beta version http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=2508 as I do not see it on your list.

                    Uninstall DVDFab, then reinstall one of the current releases, as suggested. Post the process log also if this does not fix the problem.

                        I uninstalled it, restart the computer, download it again from http://www.dvdfab.net/mlink/download...DVDFAB6_NONCSS
                        restart the computer, open settings window, still no sign of the PathPlayer option.

                        Log folder doesn't have a process.log file, only a dvdfab_burn_vso.log and a dvdfab_internal.log

                        In the main window title bar I read "DVDFab 6.2.1.8 Non-CSS (31/12/2009)".

                        Please advise. Thanks.

                          You're right, I do read "Non-CSS" in the top. What does it mean, and how can i download a "CSS" version.

                              I have this same problem with the current 6.2.2.0 beta version and 6.2.1.8 but only with my external samsung dvdrom. You can find the current thread we are troubleshooting in here:
