Guest repliedOriginally posted by Dom60 View Postok my stepson borrowed the movie but the file folder on the hard drive is 4.93gb i believe it was going to be 97 % uncompressed which i've had movies with more compression
just looked in settings its set to 4474 mb for dvd5
The setting you are using will not fit on a SL disc that is why it ask for a DL.

Guest repliedDC is not asking about the quality percentage.
He wants to know the size in MBs.

it varies as to the length of movie the longer the movie the less the number but most times I have 100% which means no compression! but on the movie I was archiving I believe it was at 97% I have never had any issues with the quality section, just buy'n some cheap low quality disks but I get the sony disks and out of a few hundred disks had on like maybe 4 bad disks.

Am I going have to uninstall the latest version and reinstall the older ver to get it to work with out having to download a new program?
When you have it set for DVD5 for Single Layer discs, what does the quality box show as the size (in MB) for that setting?
