well i am having the problem regardless of which disks i put it. I do not have this prolem when running 6.2.1.8 so it has to be something in versions 7.x.x.x
i have tried several of the version 7 betas and they all exhibit the same behavior.

Therein lies the mystery. I don't have the issue at all. I run Fab off of a thumb drive so I can move it around to my three computers. I have an old W2K system, an XP lap top and a Vista quad core desktop and it runs great on all of them. Even here at work? I have no idea why it works for some and not others, I wish I did!

how do you run it off a thumb drive i thought it had to be installed on the actual pc it is running on. ive tried all sorts of disks, even ones i have used before that i know have no encryption and the version 7s just wont even load the dvd.

Yep, none of them are picking up the dvdinfo, see the last line of my log that works, it's missing from your logs. Maybe this will tell the developers something?

Another difference I see is for people having trouble they all have a line that says "got copyright 1 fe" 90312 has a line saying "got copyright 0 0" and his works. Don't know what it means but it could be part of the problem.

I don't really think so, all I have here at work to try is a backup copy of the movie. I think the difference is all the crap is removed from my disc.
