I have tried 6.2.1.8 and for me it wouldn't open the disc. It continuosly gave read errors during the analize process. I tried ignoring all with out any luck.

I have also tried 7.0.3.0 while everthing looked fine once it starts it Fails and shows the process has completed sucessfully. I have a Memorex DVD+-RAM 530L v1 Drive and I am converting to Xbox. Here is the log:

    23:06:20: Task 1
    23:06:20: Source( F:\VIDEO_TS\ )

    23:06:20: Conversion: one pass begin...
    23:06:20: Task_1 failed! Error=7(501 17)
    23:06:21: Process completed successfully!

    Here is the program log

I am not sure if there is any other log file that will help as well. I can post it if there is one, I would just need to know where to look.

I have tried all 3 settings of the Path Player with the exact same result. For that matter I have tried setting everything back to the defaults and still the same thing.

We have te 2 Disc "Special Edition" set. I am not sure if it makes a difference, but on the disc itself around the outside in the tiny writing, it says "Widescreen 2012454 Region 1". Since I have never had a problem in the past I don't know if that number means anything or not.
If it wasn't for having to buy Twilight twice because I was too lazy to back up the first copy I would just be a lot more patient.

I have been able to backup other both before and after I had first recieved this error.

In your case you only needed title 1 to get the entire movie.

Guess I won't be using ver 6 and longer ....

Need to recant what I said earlier because of an issue with a recently extracted DVD. Click on the link below for details:

My default will still be 6.1.2.8 (very stable), if a particular DVD does not extract via 6128, i.e. New Moon, then I will try the latest Beta version.

So, I currently have both versions installed, glad I didn't remove 6128 ...

PS: Hey RipV stop banging your head ..... you're giving me a headache...

There are at least 3 versions.
Depending on the version Fab will choose title 3 title 12 or title 17 None of these is the correct title.

I "Removed" 7.0.2.5, re-downloaded and re-installed 6.2.1.8, set PathPlayer to "Off", went to "Main Movie" choice, chose Title "1", and it works perfectly, playing through from beginning to end, even with all 3 sound tracks and subtitles. Note: It did take awhile to read and open the New Moon disc; however, it worked. I definitely think the 7.0.2.5 needs some work. Thanks.
Just tried this after many attempts using all other recommendations. Worked for me.

I changed the selection to title 1; for some reason, by default, title 17 was selected. Title 1 had a length of 2:10 which is the correct movie length while 17 had a length of 1:56.

Anyhow, both Main Movie Only and Full Disk worked fine with the beta, using VSO burning engine.

I have since uninstalled 6 and I'm just keeping 7.0.2.5.
Have you tried Fab 7.0.2.5 beta and used main movie only. Select Title 1. Title 17 misses first chapter.
