1st do as MM said, play from the HDD so we can narreow down the issue, rule out the backup not being made correctly
The result would be:
1 - plays the same from the HDD (choppy/blurry), then probably on-board graphics ... update the driver and see if that helps ...
2 - if it plays fine then then compression, maybe, I've done some pretty heavy compressing in the ole days with shrink, never had choppy or blurry, bad resolution yes !
I didn't bother to read the logs, what media are we using, did he use ImgBurn to make backup
