    ImgBurn fragged my HD

    only maybe done about a dozen backups, using ImgBurn as told here.
    At the end of making a back up I get an error and everything goes haywire.

    Get shutdown proper and reboot and my F drive won't work. oh the data is there but its scrambled to where it can't be seen in any OS.

    Gonna cost $300 to fix

    $90 for a recovery program [not the gay deleted files one]
    $200 on a new HD to hopfuly get the data onto.

    F ImgBurn, for a much as you ask for DVDfab I should not have to use some buggy 3rd party software to make a back up.

    This is part of your problem, I think...

    I 12:55:49 Destination File System: FAT32

    Trying to create an ISO file on a FAT32 drive is fraught with problems as FAT32 has a physical limitation of ~4G only.

      No problem to use a FAT32 hard disk with ImgBurn. It will just cut it into 1GB pieces and create a .mds file to hold it together. Your issue is that this file can't be read from your hard disk

      E 12:59:58 Failed to read file: 'F:\TEMP\Temp\FullDisc\02\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP'
      E 12:59:58 Reason: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

      Have you tried to run a CHKDSK /F on that F: drive?

        when it boots up it displays the message to check the disk like after a hard crash, then it auto selects no, can't chose yes. Like it wants to.

        using this program
        EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional can retrieve all lost data from Hard disk drives like HDD, SSD, RAID, NAS, etc. It also supports data recovery from digital cameras, USB flash drives, SD cards, pen drives and more.

        after hours of waiting it found everything and most everything is marked with a D aka deleted, the riped dvd\DVDFab\ISO\ though was not, it was marked as unknown as the folder names are gone, with a D on all the files.

        Like it deleted everything but scrambled some things.
