Have you also tried right clicking the Fab icon on your desktop and run as administrator?

I always do this for all my programs, instead of clicking run I click save then open the folder and right click and install the programs as administrator and never have had 1 problem with any install. In my own opinion I think it makes a world of difference on the install of programs.
Give it a try and post back.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Well since you already installed and might have forgot to run the installer as administrator like I mentioned in post#8 and likeCBR929 mentioned try right clicking the desktop icon for DVDFab and select run as administrator to see if DVDFab will run that way

I don't have any other users on this computer so wouldn't my main and only login be the admin?

Okay when I right click and say "run as" the first option checked says my name/administrator. So would that mean I am running it via administrator?

Yes that should mean you are running it as administrator.

                  Is Fab working now????

                          Me to

I had been running an older version on a now dead laptop.

Just (today) installed 7.0.3.0 on a networked machine, running XP Pro, that I am the administrator for. Used registration key from February. Everything seemed to take, and it now says I am registered through 2012. (as it did on my old machine).

However, I am getting the same problem.

Once I click START DVDFAB in the bottom right corner, nothing happens. Just blank. I have tried RUN AS (to verify that admin rights are allowed) and still nothing.

I have sent an e-mail to support as well.

I did follow the directions of an earlier poster about, uninstalling, ccleaner, re-install (again verifying that I had local and network administrative rights, which I had) and still nothing.

                          hopefully we'll hear something soon.

I just posted having the same problem...

For trial I tried installing 7.0.3.0 on another machine, same network, same user name (i.e. same administrative rights) the only difference being the new machine is running Windows 7 Pro, NOT XP.

The Windows 7 Pro worked FINE. I again tried uninstalling, and re-installing on the XP Pro machine.

Still getting the same problem. My guess is an XP issue?

That is possible since I am using XP as well and it wont work for me.
