I just picked up the 2 disc set (Blu-Ray and DVD) R1.
Did the DVD with 7040, PP enabled, Title 1 (2:41:32), no problems.
No word yet on the Blu Ray disc, but my money's on Fengtao to beat the competition.
LOL at leeroy's comment to calcu007:
"For the most expensive movie ever made, and they don't worry about protection?. "

rip
there will not be a 3d version till summer 2011 at the earliest as there won't be a sufficient 3d TV/player base to warrant the time and expense of going 3D.
You will see a 4 disk "Ultimate Edition" for XMAS (called that because of the extras, commentary(s), etc. but not 3d nor a director's cut. The producer says the current release is the director's cut.
This is per Jon Landau, the producer, in a very recent interview

The problems here are multi-fold:
You present your opinion as fact. Clearly it is not, it is opinion.
Your post amounts to nothing more than spam. It is untrue and unhelpful.
When I posted on 4/22, Fengtao had already cracked BD+ on one version of R1 and had the second version cracked on the same date.
We were waiting for him to announce publicly...
Your competiton announced a "partial success" with a beta release on 4/24.
I'm pretty sure that's 2 days later than Fab...fuzzy math notwithstanding....
Frankly, I could'nt care less what product you choose to support.
If you wish to discuss a Fab product and have a question or info that will benefit Fab users that's fine.
If not, I suggest that you take your "opinions" elsewhere. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Complacation I changed your ban of calcu007 from one week to a permanent ban.
Reason--Using two user names on the forum and promoting other software.
