    would using dvdfab/imgburn, keep the layerbreak or change it? i set it up like in the sticky...im using dvdfab clone setting

      With clone mode, the layer break will be preserved even when using Img.
      This is the one instance where writing to DL media with Img as Fab's default burn engine is truly a seamless process, ie.,
      you do not have to choose a layer break location.

        after flashing my drive, dvd+r still show up as +r insted of rom...

              no... i dont know what happened...just glad it worked...ty for your help!

              one more question for u...what would be the advantage of flashing the drive with the rpc1 and booktype flash?

                Which firmware did you use? Maybe you're already RPC1.
                The advantage is that you can only change your burner's region code 5 times and then it's locked...that is unless you have RPC1 firmware.

                For most users, this probably doesn't make much difference
