Tried copying the movie, 'The Gift' and got read errors.
The exact error was a popup box titled, "Reading/Writing Error Control", with text that stated, "Error while reading! Please choose what to do ?". Then it gave 4 options: Retry - Abort - Ignore -Ignore All
When i clicked RETRY, it gave the error again after attempting to read. When I click Ignore and Ignore all it continued trying to read slowing down very quickly for over 2 hours to something like 1kbps, then I just aborted.
The movie plays flawlessly on my computers dvd player, which is the dvd player i am trying to read the file with, and it also plays flawlessly on my stand-alone dvd player attached to the TV set, so I do not believe this to be a system issue. Additionally, I have not had any problems copying and burning other disks recently, and had burned another dvd 10 minutes earlier without any issues.
Also, please note that I am a lifetime paid/registered buyer of the software with all trial restrictions removed, so the new copy protection schemes circumvention techniques should be applied to my dvdFab install.
I cleaned the dvd but to no avail - it just keeps giving me read errors.

no other log files exist in the folder for this attempt - i actually removed all log files and ran dvdfab again to get the most current logs of the read attempt.
any ideas ????
it's an older movie but perhaps it has new protections ???
windows explorer says it's a UDF filesystem disk
this perplexes me as this is the first occurrance of an older movie the software could not read.
thank you in advance for any assistance.
