    leap year copied

i made a copy of leap year. youhave to hit abort until the files come up . use costome and select the largest file. it will take a long time for fab to copy the movie maby an hour or so. when you try to play the movie in a dvd player it will loop back to the menu. so put the copy back in the comp. and use a trim program like nero vision and trim the very first of the movie off. you only lose the opening credits. the copy you make this time will play on any home dvd player. hope this will help. i know we can wait for a fix, but its good to learn a little.

      Abort works

Let the disk go to read error, clicked abort, finished reading. Select the movie that is 1:40, it is the correct length.

          Leap year

it works. there are only two version. select the 1 hour 40. but first abort it when the error pops up. then it open the dvd. select the longer version. thereis only two 1 hour 35 and 1 hour 40. the hour 40 is the one. it does take longer it took me 41 minutes to get it. using main movie only.

I figured that part out last night for the abort and did main movie. Watched a little bit of it on the computer but have not burned to DVD yet. It does seem to have done the entire main movie

let DVDFab read it as it takes a while and when the retry, abort, ignore, ignore all pops up select abort and then let DVDFab continue again until DVD is opened

OK, figured it out.....Passkey is the main problem, I too couldn't get the movie to open, not even get PowerDVD to play it.....so disabled PassKey but even that didn't work , so I uninstalled Passkey and BINGO it opened got the error message, hit abort and used the 1:40 movie. I can reinstall Passkey when I want it. Currently using 7.0.4.5

Movies are released at different dates for different regions.
There can be up to a 3 week difference depending on where you live.
