    Problem with version 7

I've tried and I've tried to mess with version 7. It has no problem ripping it to the computer but when it comes to burning it to a blank DVD, it gives me an error message as such:

no media detected in drive D.

please insert a compatible media to start write process.

It does this every single time and it keeps spitting out the blank DVD. I do this on version 6 and it takes it. What should I do?

    Problem with version 7

what type of media are you using ? what size 4.7 gig or 8 gig (dual layer). take a look at the quality setting and see if it is on dvd9, if it is and your using 4.7 gig media than you need to set it to dvd 5

I am using the appropriate DVD 4.7 and it is on DVD five. The same DVD that I'm using, is the same that I'm using for version 6 and it is burning on version 6 but not on seven.

Nope I'm still having the same problem. I followed the directions to the T and it said that imgburn should pop up but it doesn't, and it's still giving me the same error message.

since you have ImgBurn installed can you open ImgBurn and click tools and then select Filter Drive Load Order. Click copy to clipboard. Then in a post reply to this thread use paste and the filters will be copied to your post. It sounds like you have a bad filter that why I said to do this

These are known to cause conflicts with several dvd copy programs........ but do not delete anything until someone with more knowledge of filters than I have takes a look at them.

These two filters below are installed by packet writing software that will cause problems when burning to blank DVD. So they need to be removed and can be removed using ImgBurn in settings Filter Drive Load Order. First I have to tell you the program that installed those filters may not work anymore if they are removed. Now to remove them select the filter using ImgBurn in settings Filter Drive Load Order and then click Remove Selected Filter and do that for both filters. Restart computer and then use ImgBurn to see if they was removed.

                          Code:
                          Filter Name: DLACDBHM
                          File Name: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\DLACDBHM.SYS

Once I remove this, when I opened DVD Fab seven should ImgBurn pop up on its own or should I open first ImgBurn?
