    OK, this sheds some light on your problem. There are two things you should do:
    (1) Make sure proper exemptions for DVDFab are set in your Comodo. It doesn't look like a cause, but to be on a safe side...

    (2) It seems, you optical drives' driver is to old for DVDFab 7. Please update your firmware and you should be OK.

      Comodo was turned off and it still crashed. So I doubt it's Comodo.

      All firmware + drives are up to date.

        This is my conclusion.

        If I use a source with not only the main movie (a DVD with menus) on it, it works as it should. I can get it to work with -R and +R DL discs and original discs.

        If the source only contains a main movie (one VTS) it crashes and it doesn't matter if the source is a virtual drive or a burned copy. So that should rule out optical drives or bad burns as the source of the issue.

        So my question is now, can other members either mount an ISO or insert a burned copy of a main movie and also get it to crash?

          No, you can't rule it out. Virtual drive is emulator, not a stand-along drive. It mimicking your actual optical drive, uses same driver, channels and so on. The fact that you have that problem with both optical drive and emulator, confirms that your optical drive is a problem.
          Just a few days ago another member has a problem with drive accessing/communication, he refuses even to think that his drive is a problem - and after a few test and day of struggle he end up with confirmed faulty drive.

            I've now tried with three optical drives. One IDE, one SATA and one USB.

            Code:
            I 22:58:47 -> Drive 1 - Info: PIONEER DVD-RW  DVR-115D 1.22 (E:) (ATA)
            I 22:58:47 -> Drive 2 - Info: ATAPI iHAS120   6 7L0M (O:) (SATA)
            I 22:58:47 -> Drive 3 - Info: DVDFab Virtual Drive 1.0 (P:) (SCSI)
            I 22:58:47 -> Drive 4 - Info: ELBY CLONEDRIVE 1.4 (R:) (SCSI)
            I 22:58:47 -> Drive 5 - Info: PHANTOM DVD-RAM DVDR V10 88.0 (Q:) (SCSI)
            I 22:58:47 -> Drive 6 - Info: Slimtype eSAU108   4 2L01 (N:) (USB)
            If I use a source disc that only contains a main movie, it crashes.
            If the source is a disc with menus + movie + bonus stuff it works.

              And you have this crash/not crash on every one of them?

                Yes, tried with different discs and as soon as it's only a main movie source, it crashes. Full DVD movies never crashes.

                  Hmmmm. Now you really puzzled me.... And that "main movie" version was made with DVDFab, right? Did you try to play it with stand-along DVD player?

                    Yes, the main movie was created with DVDFab. Tried several different DVDs as the source to get a main movie to burn to a disc or mount as an ISO. Always crashing when the source only contains one VTS.

                    There are no problems to play the burned discs with a software player.

                      Am I understanding this are you trying to run a burned disc with no copy protection through Fab
                      If this is the case I have seen this on more than 1 occasion where Fab will stumble and crash because it is looking for copy protection and it is not there

                        Yes, it's not protected.

                        It's not crashing in the analyse phase. Only when I try to press the icon to get to the settings after that the analyse is done. I have no issues to copy the source files if I don't touch the settings icon.

                        My major question/issue is why it's crashing when you try to access the settings when you have a main movie source selected and not when there are menus on the source.

                        Pressing an icon shouldn't crash the program IMHO.

                        Have you tried to insert a main movie disc and got it to not to crash when you try to get to the settings?

                            Just for kick of it, can you start DVDFab without the movie, disable PathPlayer, close DVDFab, and then try to crash it again. Thank you.

                              @IPopov50 It does not crash with path player disabled only when enabled just tested

                                Same here. If PathPlayer is disabled I can access the settings menu. Enabled, it crashes.

                                Good to know that the problem is not isolated to my computer. Thanks!

                                But with the old version 6 I can have PathPlayer always enabled and no crash. What's the problem with this 7 version?
