From this same thread, either he is lying or he somehow made a copy of Ironman 2 from v7. He doesn't directly state that he used v8 or that it was an original copy of IM2... I have left him a private message but he hasn't responded. Guessing he only checks the forums when he is having an issue...

I feel the same way, however until v8 of DVDFab it's time hadn't gone for me
I'm still willing to fight for it...
Find out what it is about 2k that will not work with v8+ and remove 2k from the list. I think it only fair to future consumers who fork out cash for it.
Ultimately if it won't work it would be nice to know if they should remove 2k from the system requirements. At that point I'll upgrade the OS on these two rigs and keep chugging on.

You hang in there Yoder. Downloading and installing the latest C++ redistributable packages and .NET framework helped me hang on until work upgraded everything. The VPN software just wouldn’t work on W2K, among other software. I was pleased to learn that my old Compaq single core machine had a 64 bit AMD CPU and architecture so I put W7 64 bit on it and am nothing but pleased with the result. I was a little worried about W7 on the older machine but it really brought it to life.
