DVD Ripper 8.0.5.6 - Jerky Video STILL

    Attn Service Team,
I will re-state what I sent in an email, only because I implemented EVERY 'fix' listed below with no better results overnight.

As a paying customer, I DEMAND that you take our complaints of 'jerky' video seriously, and take one of 2 actions.

    1. FIX the PROBLEM
    2. Refund a pro-rated amount of the money we paid

I have seen ZERO action from the service team to try and address this issue, other than to provide the exact same 'solutions' for the last 3 months.

    LISTEN TO US-
Clicking the green check and setting ALL of the A/V codec selections (Decoder and Encoder) to Software DOES NOT WORK

Deleting all previous versions as well as all registry entry's that have DVDFAB in them and re-installing the most current version DOES NOT WORK

Switching from 2-pass to 1-pass DOES NOT WORK

I as well as others have posted logs, and nearly a hundred posts regarding this issue, with no feedback from the service team stating WHY all the sudden (I started using V5) at revision level 8 there is this jerky video issue with h.264/aac. I personally do not care how long it takes to rip/encode the movies, as long as they look good when done (which they have up to version 8).

Please reference #1 and 2 above, and decide how you intend to move forward.

and before Signals jumps in with his 'help us help you' post

What I do find interesting here, is that after using V5,6,7 and now 8, ripping nearly all 500 movies in my collection (at 4-7 hours each to rip) I found the settings I like best, that show best on my system, and now I cannot even choose those settings.

H.264 @ 2000kbps bitrate (max resolution) & AAC @ 120kbps bitrate are the settings I like, now with 8.0.x I am forced to use a setting that is jerky AND looks poor (1079kbps is terrible).

When will the software development team look at fixing all of the currently reported bugs before adding new features or changing the GUI again?

I did some troubleshooting for you.

If I watch the VOB file with VLC on my machine, GREAT quality and perfect sound, no jitters.
If I watch the .mp4 with quicktime on my machine, GREAT quality and perfect sound, jittery video.

            CBR...

He is actually trying to help me through PM.

Right now he's leading me to 'clean' the DRM stuff on my machine.

Ok, well you suspended the only person on this board that was trying to help.

Any dev team members want to assist now?

well for starters the forum is here so can post all help in threads where all members/Guests can see. Others may have the same issue and want to try what is being said in PM. But they not know as PM is Private
